XHOSA FUNDIS CC provides Xhosa Language Courses to adults. We have been in business and developing our own materials, focusing on practical conversation skills, since the beginning of 2005. In this time we have grown substantially. Our Beginners' Xhosa Course provides essential conversation skills for everyday use. Lessons are fun, focussed, innovative and very practical: We get you speaking!
Lessons are conducted on company premises in and around Cape Town's city bowl. Classes run ideally for an hour and a half, once a week. However, this can be adjusted.
PLEASE NOTE:
• XHOSA FUNDIS CC is registered with both TradeWorld (Western Cape Supplier Database) and the City of Cape Town. We are also in the process of getting our courses SETA accredited having submitted Phase A mid-2008.
• Our teacher is very well qualified (PG Dip Education & TEFL) and has more than 11 years teaching experience.

Payment is due (latest) by the end of the first day of the course. Should learner's not arrive for the course, you will still need to pay for the number of learners booked. Bank Details are at the bottom of this page.
The Cost of Corporate Xhosa Courses includes:
- Two Teachers per class (One Eng 1st language and one Xhosa 1st language)
- Course Handbooks
- Audio CDs matching the Handbook
- Pin-Me-Up cards for each lesson
- Pocket size Phrase Book with mini dictionary
- Weekly Recap E-mails
- Certificates:
• ATTENDANCE Certificates are issued to those who have attended at least 5 lessons on a course.
• GRADED Certificates, are issued to learners who choose to write an exam at the end of a course. This option costs an extra R200 per participant to cover the setting, facilitating and marking of exams.

Lesson 1: To Greet (Hello’s, and asking after health: The appropriate start to a Xhosa conversation.)
Lesson 2: To Meet (What’s your name? Nice to meet you! and Goodbyes)
Lesson 3: As a Beginner (Please repeat that. Please slow down. I’m still learning, ...)
Lesson 4: Small Talk (Where do you come from? Where are you going? What do you do?...)
Lesson 5: Review and Vocabulary Extension
Lesson 6: FULL COURSE REVIEW
Beginners' Course 2 - should you wish to continue:
Lesson 1: The Weather (It’s hot today, It was hot yesterday, It's going to be hot tomorrow,...)
Lesson 2: At the Garage (Please fill the tank. Keep the change...)
Lesson 3: At the Shop (How much is it? Anything else? Wait a little, I'll have a look...)
Lesson 4: Hospitality, preferences and abilities (Welcome! /Do you like ...? /Do you know how to...?)
Lesson 5: Review and Vocabulary Extension
